Shewit Shanka Shashigo, Wolaytta: Shankka Shawito, is an Ethiopian politician who is serving as minister of Ministry of Culture and Sport Ethiopia since July 2024.[1]

Career

Shewit is representing Wolaitans in House of Peoples' Representatives as delegate from Boloso Sore 2 constituency.[2] Shewit has served her country in different levels. Prior to heading Minstry of culture and sport Ethiopia she was Chairperson of Urban Infrastructure and Transport Affairs Standing Committee.[3] [4] Shewit also served as manager of Addis Ababa Education and Training Quality Professional Competence and Assessment Assurance Authority.[5]
