This season's Real World is in Denver Colorado. The roomies get the party started right away and promise it will be a wild ride.
- Tyrie and Jenn both arrived by train and took a horse-drawn carriage together to the house.
- Alex and Brooke both arrived by plane and took a limousine to the house.
- Stephen, Davis, and Colie meet at a restaurant and arrive at the house last.
- The roommates play "Truth Or Dare".
- Davis opens up to Colie first - whom they both have a mutual friend with, and tells her that he is gay.
- Tyrie and Brooke flirt a little in the hot tub.
- Brooke and Jenn make out in the pool.

Heating Things Up

In Episode 2, Conflict arises when Davis' sexuality clashes with Stephen's religious views. Meanwhile, Alex and Colie kiss but later, Alex hooks up with Jenn.
- Colie tells Jenn that Alex has a large penis.
- Davis opens up to Jenn who asks if there is anyone gay at the table. Davis then tells everyone that he has a boyfriend named P.J. as well.
- Stephen is in disagreement with Davis about his sexuality. Davis and Stephen get into an argument and then make up.
- Colie and Alex hook up, but then Jenn and Alex hook up.
- Alex feels more comfortable "making out" with Jenn because he knows Jenn thinks it's for fun. Alex feels that Colie is more serious in starting a romance.
- Alex and Jenn have sex. Colie is worried.
- Alex tells Colie that he just wants to be friends.

The Morning After

In Episode 3, The aftermath of Jenn's sexcapade gets ugly. However, after an emotional confession to Colie, they both realize their friendship is more important than any quick hookup. But things fall apart quickly.
- Jenn and Colie made up and Jenn says she wants Colie at her future wedding.
- All three girls go out to a club, agreeing that each of them are allowed one "dirty back." This referred to Jenn's situation with Alex.
- Colie invites two strangers to the house while Brooke and Alex start to become uncomfortable with the situation.
- Colie and Alex mended their relations, creating a 24 hour no hook-ups pact.
- The following morning, Alex breaks the 24 hour no hook-ups pact with Colie.
- Colie is devastated when talking with Davis because she claims that there is no one in the house that she can hook up with (ie: Alex is a playboy, she probably won't hook up with either Tyrie or Stephen because she does not find herself attracted to either of them, and Davis is gay).

Davis vs. Tyrie

In Episode 4, The "n"-word gets used in a club and Tyrie becomes furious that Davis could have heard that and not done a thing. Later, the argument gets brought back to the house and it gets quite ugly.
- Davis gets drunk at a club and returns to the house before the others to use the phone so he could call his boyfriend. While on the phone Davis says to his boyfriend that he wants to marry him so bad.
- Stephen is angry because a bartender called him a "nigger" at the club.
- Tyrie begins an argument with Davis on the grounds that he "left" Stephen at the time of the occurrence.
- A drunk Davis calls Tyrie a "nigger", which shocks everyone. The focus becomes the use of the "n" word, Davis' possible drinking problem, and whether he will leave (or not).
- A producer steps in to break up the argument, and later sends Davis to a hotel for the night. After calming down a bit, Tyrie was ready to talk.
- Davis comes back to the house the next morning to apologize, and tells Stephen and Tyrie he used the "n" word purely out of anger that Tyrie was yelling at him, and is forgiven by Tyrie and Stephen.
- Davis nearly leaves the show, but is encouraged to stay by his housemates, particularly Stephen. When Tyrie forgives him, he agrees not to go home.

Dark Kent

In Episode 5, Tyrie's "other side", named Dark Kent, gets put to work after meeting two girls at a club. However, trouble occurs when he meets both girls at the same club.
- Tyrie juggles between two girls he meets at a club, Jazelle and Ashley.
- He decides to bring Jazelle back to the house, while Stephen meets Ashley and wants to take her back the same night.
- Tyrie tells Stephen not to bring her back, and Stephen tells her that she cannot come due to "too many guests."
- Later on, Tyrie continues to talk to both girls, but he leans towards Jazelle more.
- Davis plans a ski trip, but no one wants to come so early in the morning, except for Alex and Stephen. Stephen says this ski trip was a good bonding experience and they got to know each other better.
- During another club night, Davis wears makeup and a mask. He is described by Tyrie as being a "modern zorro."
- Someone at the club calls him a "f*g," and Tyrie comes and defends Davis.
- At the end of the episode, Tyrie is seen in bed with Jazelle, but they do not have sex.

Bus Brawl

In Episode 6, Trouble occurs on a bus after leaving a club with a drunken Jenn. Tyrie tries to stop Jenn from acting unpolite. Jenn, however, doesn't want to.
- Jenn tells Tyrie that he reminds her of her disliked ex-boyfriend, Doyle.
- The cast discusses the Jenn's idea of getting a puppy. Tyrie, Alex, and Stephen reject the idea.
- After Jenn has been drinking, she has a fight with Tyrie. Jenn tries to slap Tyrie.
- The next day, the fight is resolved when Jenn realizes that she needs to recognize Tyrie as himself.
- The other cast members feel that Jenn has a drinking problem.
- Jenn admits that alcoholism runs in her family and that she consumes alcohol nearly every day.
- Both Jenn and the other cast members say that they would like her to make a change in her drinking habits.

The Kissing Disease

In Episode 7, Colie suddenly starts feeling ill, later to find out she has the "Mono" disease. Meanwhile, Brooke is fed up with Denver after an unpleasant experience and wants to go home.
- Brooke tells Davis that she has depression and anxiety.
- While out partying, Colie feels sick.
- The next day, Colie's sorority sister Lindsy and Lindsy's mother take Colie to the hospital.
- Colie is diagnosed with infectious mononucleosis.
- While Colie is at the hospital, Alex talks to Colie's mother who advises him to make Colie a "sick couch". Colie takes this as a sign that Alex cares about her as a person.
- Brooke leaves the house by herself to find a nail salon, but she is unable to find the location. Brooke says that she walked for a long time and that men were yelling at her.
- Brooke describes the area she was in as a "ghetto". Tyrie questions Brooke about her use of the word "ghetto".
- Brooke becomes upset and leaves the room.
- After talking with Jenn, Brooke says that she feels much better. Tyrie also assures Brooke that he was not mad at her.

Crossing the Line

- The crew is heading outside to retrieve the mail when a notice tells them about their assignment. They are given two Jeep Compasses to drive. The cast takes a drive around the block for fun.
- Jenn meets John, a boy doing security at the club, Monarck. She takes him to the house but doesn't sleep with him. Jenn claims that she has someone at home that she sincerely cares for. The other roommates don't approve of her behavior.
- When John leaves, the roommates insult Jenn. Alex says "why don't you just fuck me again". Jenn is offended and tells Alex that she was drunk, and that she regrets her night with him.
- The roommates drive three hours to get to the Outward Bound Wilderness where they learn about their training. Brooke is praying that she won't have any trouble.
- The cast meets their new boss, Chris.

Outward Bound

- The cast visits Sports Authority to buy the necessary equipment for their first week of training.
- The crew travels to Leadville where they meet their co-instructor, Raleigh, and begin training at the Outward Bound Wilderness.
- Colie says that she feels guilty for leaving New Orleans. She describes having the chance to work with children from New Orleans as "having everything all at once".
- Everyone except Colie gets up at 6:00 AM for the "run and dip" activity. Colie does not particiapate because of her sickness. Brooke does not like the training so far.
- After breakfast, the cast goes to the high ropes course. Brooke becomes upset, and Tyrie and Chris work with her to get her to the end.
- The next element of training is a rock climb. Brooke is excited after she successfully completes her climb.

Breaking Point

- The group must rappel off of a high area. Brooke expresses concern about the activity.
- After rappelling, Colie says that this is the first time that Tyrie has seemed emotionally vulnerable. She says that this makes her feel like Tyrie trusts the cast and considers them his family.
- Brooke refuses to rappel.
- Tyrie says that he has made a step towards conquering his fear of heights.
- Chris does not want Colie to go on the next backpacking trip because he thinks that it is too strenuous while she is sick. Instead she will stay with Adam, the logistical coordinator.
- Alex is agitated because he is washing dishes and Brooke is not taking initiative to help him so he tells her to wash dishes. Brooke feels offended and becomes upset.
- Brooke says that she is at her breaking point.
- The next day, the crew begins their backpacking trip. They are given a lesson on "pooping" in the woods. Brooke dislikes this aspect of her job.
- Brooke decides that she is going to hike in her underwear. After Chris asks her about this, Brooke remarks that it was rude for Chris to call her out in front of the group.
- The night at camp, Brooke decides to wipe herself in the middle of camp. Chris tells Brooke that her actions were "over the top".
- After her recent actions, Brooke admits that she is worried about her job.
- Chris takes time to educate the crew about professionalism. Chris states that the cast has a 24-hour job.
- During the drive home, Colie says that she cuddled with Adam and that the two of them had amazing talks.
- Brooke is very happy to be back at home.
- Alex tells Brooke that he thinks that she can make her life better.

Hit Where It Hurts

- Stephen says that he doesn't want to cheat on his girlfriend, Mercii, so he has asked Jenn to watch over him. Jenn warns him about his actions, but Stephen does not listen to her very well. Jenn says that Stephen is not being faithful to her.
- Brooke says that she has a "flirty" relationship with Davis. Later, Brooke talks with Davis about his relationships.
- Over the phone, Stephen confesses to his girlfriend that he kissed another girl. He says that this is wrong and that he will try to be faithful.
- The next night, Stephen and Alex bring home three girls. Mercii calls while the other girls are there. Stephen claims that he doesn't know what is going on.
- Stephen and Alex get intimate with the girls in the hot tub. Stephen says that he does not feel guilty about what is going on because it is a "game". He says that he is making out with the girls, but he does not like them. Colie describes the girls as intoxicated and "gross".
- When Brooke and Davis are together, Tyrie says that Brooke is losing her mind. Tyrie, Alex and Stephen are interested by Brooke and Davis's behavior. When Tyrie confronts her about this, Brooke says that she knows better.
- After Jenn has been drinking, Stephen and Jenn argue about Mercii. Alex tells Stephen that he can ignore Jenn or hit her where it hurts. Davis relays this to Jenn.
- Jenn is very upset and perturbed by Alex's statements. Alex becomes upset as well. Later, Alex and Jenn discuss what happened between them.
- Jenn and Stephen settle their difference in opinion concerning Stephen's interactions with women other than his girlfriend.

The Disabled List

- Brooke says that she is not looking forward to going back to Outward Bound. She describes the experience as "torture". Brooke tells Davis that she is concerned about her ankle.
- When Colie calls Adam, he says that Outward Bound was strict about them having a relationship. Colie says that Outward Bound told Adam not to talk to her anymore.
- Brooke calle her dad to tell him that she is going to the doctor. She mentions that she hopes that her ankle is sprained so that she won't have to particiapate at Outward Bound. Davis takes Brooke to the hospital where she is given a letter that excuses her from work for seven days.
- Later, Stephan comments that he does not like to do the activities that go along with Outward Bound.
- The cast goes to Wild Oats to buy food for the trip. Colie and Jenn discuss Brooke's injury. Colie comments on the high-heeled shoes that Brooke is wearing. Jenn says that she thinks that Brooke is faking her injury. Colie says, "Brooke wants to be an actress, and she's just practicing."
- When the crew gets back to the house, Colie has received an email from Adam telling her that he has quit his job at Outward Bound to see her.
- Adam and Colie go on a date at Arts Fest in downtown Denver. Adam and Colie talk about their relationship and what will happen with Colie's ex-boyfriend, Corey. She says that she is not in an exclusive relationship, and she will do whatever she feels like doing.
- The next day, Davis wakes up and says that he feels sick. The cast drives back to the Outward Bound wilderness. When they arrive, Davis opens his door to the Jeep and vomits.
- The cast checks in with Chris where he is informed that Davis has been vomiting, Stephen started to feel sick the day before, and Brooke feels like she is falling apart because she still has a cold, and she sprained her ankle. Jenn says that Brooke and Stephen are constantly saying that they don't like to go to work, and that the two of them have found the perfect opportunity to get out of their jobs. Chris tells Davis, Stephen, and Brooke that they should stay at home and rest. Colie says that Brooke using her ankle as an excuse is "bullshit".
- While driving back to Denver, Stephen says that he is not upset about the situation. Later, Colie and Jenn talk about how they are not surprised that Stephen, Brooke, and Davis didn't come on the trip. Back in Denver, Davis is seen going to bed while Brooke and Stephen are drinking in the hot tub. Brooke makes it clear that she does not want to go back to Outward Bound.

Reaching the Peak

- Colie, Alex, Jenn, and Tyrie work on their second week of training at Outward Bound.
- Colie is excited when the group encounters snow on a difficult trek. They slide on the snow and throw snowballs at each other.
- Colie says that she is forming a bond that she doen't share with Stephen, Davis, or Brooke.
- While the group at Outward Bound Wilderness is cooking pasta in the field, Stephen, Davis and Brooke are eating dinner at the Old Spaghetti Company and enjoying the hot tub.
- While on a cold, high climb, Tyrie has difficulty breathing due to an asthma attack.
- Davis calls Kendra at Outward Bound to tell her that he is ready to come back. Meanwhile, Brooke talks about going to the spa for a pedicure, facial, massage, and haircut.
- When the crew goes on a mountainous hike, Tyrie stays back at camp because of his breathing difficulty.
- Colie says that Outward Bound is a rewarding experience, and that she needs to put away her negative attitude.
- The next day, Kendra hikes Davis up to camp where he meets Tyrie who is happy to see him. Tyrie compliments Davis's integrity.
- Colie says that challenging herself to climb to the peak was the most amazing feeling. Jenn says that she is proud of herself. Jenn talks about her self-realization and that she believes that she will be good at her job when they get back from the trek.
- Brooke says that she has never had an injury as severe as her "sprained ankle".
- When they get back from their hike, Chris announces that the first course Outward Bound course will have Alex, Colie, Jenn, and Tyrie as lead interns and Brooke, Stephen, and Davis as assistant interns.
- On the way back to Denver, they stop at Subway which is described as "like heaven".
- When they arrive at the house, Brooke greets the cast members while filing her nails in her bathing suit. Colie is not pleased by this. Brooke is shocked by their happiness and says that tanning is the only thing that she has been doing.
