Russia have been very successful in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. They have only entered the competition twice but they have come no less than 9th place. In 2006 the Tolmachevy Twins made Russia proud by winning the contest and getting the 2nd highest number of points in the history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. They have confirmed their participation for 2007.
