History
Phase 1 opened with Atlantic Homecare, Toymaster, The Jean Scene, Elvery Sports, Lidl and Harry Corry. Elvery Sports relocated to the Letterkenny Town Centre complex in early 2007.
Phase 2 construction finished by 2005 and it consisted of many units which would be used for fashion outlets. Stores such as Next, New Look, Tempest, TK Maxx and also Argos, SuperValu and Right Price Tiles.
Phase 3 construction commenced in 2005. This was the opening of the Forte Shopping Centre. It has a total of 18 retail units and measures 14,200 sq m. The first store opened in this phase was Homebase, followed by Dunnes Stores, their second store in the town. Clarks opened on May 5 2007. The Streat, a Northern Irish café, also opened. Marks and Spencer and Menarys Department Store are due to open on May 30 and May 25 2007 respectively. This will be M&S's first store in the the North-West of Ireland. Heatons are due to open in Summer 2007.
