Is there any evidence of this? The Superformance Shelby Daytona Coupe or "Brock Coupe" is an assembly-line car like any other that is merely sold without engine and transmission for legal reasons. It is more akin to a production car than a kit car, in that it is not generally (and has never been, to my knowledge) assembled by the owner. I know of no other "kit cars" or anything else that could be called a "kit car" that Peter is involved with... does anyone have a link to the "high performance kit cars" alluded to? If not, I think it should be deleted. His work with Datsun 510's, for instance, is substantially more notable (and historically important). |
