Born in 1925, Stanley Chapman is an English architect, designer, translator and writer. His intrests include theater and Pataphysics, he was involved with founding the National Theatre of London, is a member of Oulipo of the year 1960. He is a member also of the French Collège de 'Pataphysique, L.I.P. (London Institut of Pataphysics) and the Lewis Carroll Society.
