== Deletion review ==

Hi T, you certainly are bold enough to go to review process. I added a long note there as it looks like the disneyland characters have come back to sing "Its a Small World". Sorry for the long note, but I gave you some more clues, hopefully others might help you there but, I'm afraid, the same characters bring up the untruths and it becomes a circus. From the way it is looking it doesn't look good for you, and the controversial things that happened in the 90's as part of the TV show should stay out of the article as the encyclopedia is not a controversial piece. The Jackson scandal doesnt help out much either for you. One more clue for you, Call Jamie Foxx's agent and see if you can track down Alfred Carr and Seymour Willis Green through Jamie. If you can you will unlock some more media stuff. :) --[[User:Achidiac|Achidiac]] 03:14, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

The mark of a true addict...

In response to this comment... Those are called user boxes. And having or wanting them means that you are truly moving up in the world of wikipedia. :) Oh boy... It's all downhill from here. There are a bunch of them on this page in the gallery section. But it's also fun to see them on other peoples' pages and pick them up... Check this out... -- Ben 16:30, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to agree with KillerChihuahua's advice. Clean it up according to his advice, take it to DRV (process dictates that), and go according to consensus there. Good luck! —Kurykh 04:06, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:DRV is deletion review, where all AfD's and other deletions can be re-discussed to see whether the discussions have been valid. It also serves as the "proper" green light to reinstate a deleted article. But before that, you might want to, uh, actually follow KillerChihuahua's advice first, unless you want to eschew it and go on nonetheless. The instructions on how to start a DRV are on the main page of the process, which I linked to at the very beginning of this post. —Kurykh 04:17, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chidiac Edits

Hey there T, I found out that "Its Alright" was in fact a track by East 17 (not Backstreet Boys) so I changed it in the discography. Refer to Geoff Sturre of Pro DJ/Ozzmixx for verity. Also, Mr. Sturre also mentioned Chidiac remixed a track from TBTBT (one Track Mind) and "Take it from Me" by Girlfriend that I added to the discography for you. I really like the links you did to video articles on youtube. Could you expand the links (numbered) in the references section to be more descriptive...audience may be confused as to what they are watching/symbolism of video clip. How did you go with the Channel 10 9am show with David and Kim? That would be a great add to youtube and a link. Either way, really done a great job with this. I have the Michael Jackson/Janet Jackson DAT's of the CD's that got delivered to you too, if you need to hear the progression of the track and how he went about editing it, then this is it! Possibly make up a youtube "clip" with a pic and sync the audio on it. Don't edit any of the pieces unless you get the OK from Anthony. I'm sure he would be ok with a 30 second "clip" of the work. DAT and DAT Player are in my office. --Rdpaperclip 11:21, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

T, Further note, can you categorise the published works as "Body of Artistic Works" and then subhead the discography and Television under that?. Might read better, but I'll leave it to you to have fun with it. Regards, --Rdpaperclip 11:25, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One more thing - found Radio Productions Anthony Did, called "Rhythm Nation radio" that complimented the TV - broadcasted on JJJ in the 90's. Might pay to use a portion of it? --Rdpaperclip 11:28, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Near Final Edit Before AfD Review

I've added a link to the Michael Jackson audio release, and a Sample of the Shanice Audio Release, but will need a re-work as the original release actually got re-bundled as a special Music Video in the late 90's, which there is no way that could be posted, but I understand it may be shown again on TV shortly. Thoughts Please. T --T3Smile 16:58, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chidiac Article Comments

From Now on, any way people can add their comments to chidiac discussion board? though any general comments can still stay here. Thanks!--T3Smile 17:15, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Additions to Chidiac Entry

Hiya T, Chidiac's PR uploaded one of the six Headline News TV articles on youtube, and I added the link to references. Just a thought, is Chidiac a Pioneer of Technology, an Entrepeneur of Technology, or a Pioneering Entrepeneur, - I thought Entrepeneurs make money, and Pioneers don't? Certainly a notable person seeing his work raised awareness of the University Traingle in the Bundoora Area, and hence attention by Microsoft and the success of opening the first Tech Centre at LaTrobe. Might pay to get some thoughts from others. Chidiac is overseas. Rgds.--Rdpaperclip 04:36, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism To Peter Andre Site

Hi all, Peter Andre Site getting lots of vandalism of late, and am taking on the job to trying to keep it as it is. "Gay" and really offensive crap is being written on there, was wondering if this page could be "temporarily" or "part" protected? thanks for your thoughts - T--T3Smile 14:29, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not seeing any evidence of this, have looked on the page and the only thing I notice is that the tenure of his single was for some reason removed - I think it's worth pointing out that it spent 31 weeks in the chart as well as that it reached No.3. (I remember it well, being 14-15 at the time.) Orderinchaos 15:31, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Now genuinely curious - was fairly certain CDB was more associated with Rockmelons and Ray Medhurst? I actually met some of these guys back in mid-late 1995 (very long story). Have put in as many stats as I can find on my computer (I actually have the entire singles charts from 1989 to 2002, though not in the easiest to read form.) From Anthony

Hi tracey, thanks for working on my bio. I had to omit the tech estate aspect - though it was covered in tech mags in your presskit I am in fact, working on something there and its under wraps for now, but quite exciting, really. Do you need help in deletion review? Would you like me to help you contact the admins who you need to get the ball rolling? Let me know where I can help. Just a quick note, I don't think the intro is "encyclopedic" so well worth a re-write there. ta and best regards, --Achidiac 05:04, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My suggestion: start over

I'm with KC on this and this. This article is not going to make it in its present form. It lacks in-line citations. I would like to propose another tack... I think someone else already said this, but I can't find it... Start over. Seriously. Start with a bare, bare minimum article. The subject's name, a little bit about him, a little bit about what he has done, enough to satisfy WP:BIO. Do this with (good) in-line citations for absolutely everything. I think that this is the only way to go. -- Ben 19:43, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To respond to your request: after a quick look at the article, I agree with Ben's plan. Let's take this back to a WP:STUB and start from there. I'll try to take a deeper look soonish, but a bit busy right now. Darkspots 21:11, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

From this it seems like you have the picture. You want an article that is thoroughly sourced (this lends itself to a smaller article). You want an article that establishes the notability of the subject. -- Ben 22:02, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 19:47, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Anthony Chidiac

An article that you have been involved in editing, Anthony Chidiac, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anthony Chidiac (2nd nomination). Thank you. -- Ben 19:58, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed your statement that your thesis work had been lost to deletion at the Article Rescue Squadron roster of participants. I would like to suggest that you consider asking a Wikiversity administrator or Wikipedia administrator to transwiki the page (it should still be available to administrators, very little is ever actually deleted from the database) to a subpage of your Wikiversity account. You and interested people can work on the article there until it is of adequate quality and then it could be transwikiied back to Wikipedia unless a better article has appeared in the meantime ... in which case it would require merging. An advantage of this approach is that you can potentially get some comments and improvement suggestions for your actual thesis as well as help with creating the Wikipedia article. Link's could be placed on the talk page or main article page stating that the article had been deleted from Wikipedia for now but that work is in progress at Wikiversity so that interested people could find the working notes and draft articles. Thanks for your time, hope to see you at Wikiversity colloquium or help desk soliciting participation soon. Lazyquasar 06:33, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anthony Chidiac and some Trivial Stuff

Hey man, sorry, the "vote" was my bad. I clearly didn't look to deep into the refs and I am now convinced that it's notable. Thanks for alerting me, my "vote" (I use the word opinion instead sometimes) is changed to keep. But about your "just posting a stub"... don't give up and leave it as is, I don't want to sound optimistic or anything but I think any article can make it to at least Good Article status. I might help with the formattign every once in a while to get it to at least B-Class. Also, I didn't see all those "nasty things" written in the discussion but that's probably because I read some of it yesterday and I'm too lazy to read all of it today.
Anywho, my nick is taken from a character in Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Life, the Universe and Everything. There's an article on this particular character actually. And, if you check out the article, you'll notice the character's name has a peculiar history as well.
I do live in Argentina, as you may have noticed from my fifth userbox. I'm sorry to dissapoint you, but there's not much flamenco around here. For the traditional stuff it's just tango or local folklore in the provinces, national rock mostly predominant during and after the dictatorship (but some great songs are still listened to) and some of the people my age enjoy cumbia (it's OK) otherwise known as cumbia villera (roughly translated to "shantytown cumbia"). Me myself, I enjoy music from outside Argentina in the most part, preferably jazz or rock. But, sorry, I don't know any flamenco artists (if you're interested in tango, however, I might be able to point you in the direction of a couple musicians). Anywho, if I ever stumble upon anything on Anthony Chidiac, I'll be sure to add it to the article. Thanks, --Slartibartfast1992 00:49, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I almost forgot: I don't really recommend telling people to change their "vote" like this (you know, on their talk pages). I mean, it's OK with me since I always understand a good argument, but some people might react unexpectedly. But you did ask a revision nicely, which is why I did it.
Take a look at this discussion I participated in, on the other hand... (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jessica Smith (poet)). This user who now apparently left Wikipedia badgered nearly everybody into "changing their vote". And if you want to see how people reacted to this, check out his talk page.
Anyway, just giving an example of when asking goes wrong. My point is just don't overdo it since there are some people that aren't so understanding as others. --Slartibartfast1992 00:58, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, but people do enjoy life! Especially drinking and dancing! It basically what you described but with tango instead of flamenco, and lots of dancing to cumbia (the guys with culture go with tango; my friends, with cumbia). And you haven't lived until you've tasted an Argentine barbecue. --Slartibartfast1992 01:12, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And the best source of information about Argentina is an Argentine (lol). Sure, we brag about the food, wine, culture and tourism but we tell the truth about everything bad here. Take politicians, for example. Sure, they're bad everywhere, but we get the worst. Anywho, yell if you ever visit and I'll give you all the info you need. --Slartibartfast1992 01:15, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Canvassing is bad

Please don't canvas. Asking people to rethink their AfD !votes outside of the discussion is a no-no. -- Ben 15:39, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats!

Hi Tracey, congratulations on 600 edits!! How do you find out how many edits you have made? --Achidiac 03:48, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One More Thing

I had a quick peek to see if there was anything I could do to the stub you made of me, and noticed there was little to no information available about real-time video or audio editing. What am I missing here? Is it because I'm not in wiki that it all was overlooked or am I looking in the wrong place? Clues Here - Hybrid Arts (now barefoot software) had patents for real-time on the fly audio editing, taken back circa 1984-1986 and I was the guy that made the big thing work with the first commercial audio release (Michael Jackson) - for Digital Video its an interesting one, as Pinnacle owned the patent for Real-Time Video Editing to MPEG-2 but initially needed to use Adobe Premiere to make the render-free streaming to DVD work. So, the "plugin" was the patent, that drove a piece of hardware to do the work on the fly. We got it to work at up to 2.3x real time speed before the consumer pc locked up. Do some research, or get others to help you too - sounds like its a big void here and it needs exposure for the kids' sakes. regards to you.--Achidiac 03:57, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contact for you

An old mate of mine, Robert Moore, may be still floating around. He was the CEO of Hybrid Arts Inc and he invented the ADAP/ADAP II. Not sure if he is still around, but he's the guy I worked with back in the 80's to make digital editing fly. The guy I worked with at Pinncale has slipped my mind for now, but I'll scout through my 2001 e-mails and faxes and will let you know. He was the founder of Miro that was bought by Pinnacle. oh, the link to rob moore - http://www.woomza.com/inventor.htm --Achidiac 04:12, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page

Hi :)

We don't create orphan talk pages in article space to discuss projects, so I've had to delete the orphan. This kind of discussion is better undertaken in yyour own user space, as done to date.

Hope this is okay.
