Tiffany Vollmer is an American voice actress best known for voicing Bulma in the FUNimation dub of the Dragon Ball franchise.

A graduate of the University of North Texas, Vollmer was cast as Bulma in 1999 for FUNimation's third season of Dragon Ball Z, part of the cast replacing the heavily edited dubbing by the Ocean Group of DBZ's first two seasons. She has since gone on to voice Bulma for the rest of FUNimation's dubbing of the Dragon Ball franchise, including the original Dragon Ball anime and the Uncut versions of DBZ's first two seasons.

While her body of work is small compared to most English VAs, with Bulma being the only major character she's voiced so far, the number of episodes Vollmer voices Bulma in is extensive, since Bulma is a prominent character in the entire run of both Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. Vollmer is one of only two VAs from the FUNimation dub to voice a character prominent in the entire run of both series while being the only VA for that character (the other VA is Christopher Sabat voicing Yamcha).[1] Vollmer also voiced Bulma in Dragon Ball GT (where Bulma's role, like that of most prior characters in the DB francise, is greatly reduced), 2 DB movies, 5 DBZ movies, and 6 DBZ video games.

With FUNimation's dubbing of the Dragon Ball franchise now largely over, Vollmer has since worked on a couple of live action films, both in front of and behind the camera. She was the associate producer of the half hour short, Placebo (2006)(co-starring three of her fellow FUNimation VAs Laura Bailey, Meredith McCoy, and Mike McFarland).[2] She also worked on the full length movie Ciao (2007) as actress, key makeup artist, and head of wardrobe.

  1. ^ Comparing Bulma and Yamcha with the other characters who appear in both series: Goku and Krillin are also prominent in the entire run of both series, but in the FUNimation dub, each is voiced by more than one VA since their characters age from pre-pubescent children to adults. Master Roshi, Oolong, Puar, and Launch are prominent in DB, but are noticeably less prominent in DBZ than Bulma and Yamcha. Piccolo, Tien, and Chiaotzu are also prominent in both series, but they don't debut in DB untill that series is more than halfway over. Chi Chi is in only a small handfull of the early episodes of DB and doesn't appear again in that series untill the final saga. The remaining characters who appear in both series could be described as guest stars, appearing infrequently in both shows in roles of varying importance.
