HaShminiya (English: The Octette) is a television series that broadcasted in the Israeli channel HOT Children. Although the show was designated to children and teenagers, it was hugely watched by adults too. The show was one of the most successful shows in Israel and its prosperity was nearly hysterical.

Season 1

Amos Dvir, Avner HaLevy and Roberto, three scientists investigates the cerebral energy, called "The Lambda Ripples". They want to have an experiment that will include six amnestied kids. After the development, Avner and Amos decides to delay it for some years. Dissapointed Roberto is co-operating with Lillie Dvir, Amos' wife, and these two operates the experiment on Amos and Lillie's kids, three-year-old Maya and Jonathan. It doesn't work and explodes, but the kids are staying alive. Roberto is going to jail for six years and Lillie is leaving Israel after divorcing Amos.

The show starts 7 years later: Amos is dying of cancer, so he decides urge his kids adolescence - to the age of fifteen with his machine Turbo-Time, there you can change your age, and changes their names to Aya and Nini. Avner raises a project for amnestied students and Amos is asking him to attach Aya and Nini to the project. Amos is flying to medical treatments in Switzerland, when Aya and Nini is in thoughts that he's dead.

Avner formes "The Octette" and recruits eight amnestied students with lambda ripples in target to investigate the ripples. In addition of riddles solvings and saving the countries and themselves from hostile factors, the octette is acting like a similiar class with loves and friendships: Aya and Adam is in love at first sight. Nini and Roni and Mika and Avi are becoming couples too. Lillie, in a suprising method, is coming back from abrod to raise her children. Parallel, she and Roberto is co-operating and follows the projcet in tagret to avenge Amos and Avner.

A substitute teacher, named Dedi, joins the school, and is having relationship with Dganit, the class' teacher. Parallel, Lillie succeeds control the prjicet and is ready to use the octette like batteries and pump the lambda energy from them. Lillie threatens the octette, almost kills Adam and Dganit, going to jail and dissapoints her two kids. Aya and Nini are shocked to know that her father is alive, and he is a person that they knew so far as their History teacher - Dedi. In spite of the project's success, Avner and Dganit decides to finish it because of the student's risk and a possible exposure of the project. The students scattered in couples all over the classes. Dganit and her son, Ben-Ben is moving to Dedi, Nini and Aya's place. The season ends when Nini is returning to be Jonathan and Aya is having doubts, when Adam is asking her for not doing this.

Second Season

The second season opens in an illustrious law of Dedi and Avner, in guilt that they used the kids in illegal ways. They are going to lose it, but the testimony of Yair Noam, the Prime Minister (that was the head of the project as the education minister) prevents it. In the continuation, Dedi, Dganit and Avner starts a new projects, and having the country's confirmation, this time. They are getting aelaborate watch-tower, in the top of the Azrieli towers, there they can work easily. The formal reason is solving some of the contry issues, but in fact, the country is trying to use their lambda. The project is well funded by the Prime Minister and his assistant, Muli.
