NMYL stands for the National Movement of Young Legislators is comprised of elected local lawmakers in the Philippines who is below 35 years old. The local lawmakers are elected officials with the position of municipal and city councilors,municipal and city vice mayors, provincial board members, and provincial vice governors.
History
It was founded by Senator Francis Pangilinan in the late 80s when he was still a councilor of Quezon City, Philippines. He saw the need to unite and develop young legislators committed to strong, principled leadership among young legislators.
