Physiological causes

One of the first studies on MCS focused on possible long-term potentiation in the hippocampus and neural sensitization as a central mechanism.[27] Later studies examined the role of the inflammatory process and found that brain inflammation was correlated with symptoms of MCS.[27] In 1999, Meggs proposed that MCS is caused by low molecular weight chemicals that bind to chemoreceptors on sensory nerve C-fibers leading to the release of inflammatory mediators.[28] McKeown-Eyssen showed that polymorphisms in the CYP2D6 allele was responsible for variation in toxicant metabolism pathways that may cause differences in susceptibility to MCS. [29] Pall identified evidence suggesting elevated nitric oxide and peroxynitrite (NO/ONOO-) as the etiology for MCS and several related conditions including fibromyalgia....

MCS CONFERENCE, LONDON, 2&3 September 2003 as reported by Dr. Dick van Steenis MBBS. http://209.85.173.104/search?q=cache:UmV9wq3GYkAJ:www.elc.org.uk/papers/2003vanSteenis.doc+Industrial+pollution+fibromyalgia&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=7&gl=us

The toll of industrial pollution has amounted to some 140000 unnecessary deaths annually plus illnesses comprising as much as 40% of the "NHS bill. Wasting almost 20% of the NHS budget on “managers" has not cured the causes. The range of immune system malfunction related diseases includes autism, ME, SLE, multiple chemical sensitivity, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue syndrome, gulf war syndrome, celiac disease, polymyalgia rheumatica & fibromyalgia. 70.137.146.100 17:16, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article "Future Pilot" speedily deleted for failure to assert significance. Future Pilot article should be retained because of WP:MUSIC, Criteria for Musicians and Ensembles, part 9: "Has won or placed in a major music competition." The New Mexico music awards is a major music competition, and Future Pilot indeed placed in this competition. I believe I stated this clearly in my article. Please reconsider your deletion. Thank you. ~~

An editor has asked for a deletion review of Major_Stars. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article or speedy-deleted it, you might want to participate in the deletion review.

Minor Pixar Fun

Would you mind watching the Pixar and Red's Dream pages with us for a little bit? We've been noticing at least one user (Special:Contributions/71.67.123.130) has been repeatedly adding speculative info about the Wall-E DVD release -- not scheduled to be out for a year, I'm sure -- after the text gets reverted out. Not a big deal in the big picture of WP content, but they seem to be rather persistent. I did post a message on their talk page asking for a citation, but it seems to have been ignored. thankyouverymuch. SpikeJones 14:38, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

stop deleting artical Nv-20012

It is a good artical full of information, if think that is not so than make the artical a stub, DO NOT delete it Nv-20012 18:01, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the Info.

I have read the guidelines more closely and understand your (Wikipedia's) position on the matter. Please understand my intent was not to spam, but to add links that were relevant to the article.

It is interesting, however, to see that many articles have external links that do not meet the guidelines. These led me to believe that adding such links is appropriate. How does Wikipedia reconcile such inconsistency? —Preceding unsigned comment added by GaryKeorkunian (talkcontribs) 17:30, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My deleted page

Hello, i would like to know why my page about the band pride of 69 was deleted. i believe that it fits the criteria needed and that the page was significant as they have recently been signed —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jameslewisgd (talkcontribs) 17:52, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Droolcore

This is really a growing genre of music, becoming fairly well known throughout Virginia, and deserves it's own article, because it means a lot to the people it involves, and should be known by everyone.

Give me chance!!!

Hi you deleted my page "Backbeat Beatles" within minutes of me creating it - I was looking up references and articles in newspapers to backup their inclusion, but when I went back to add them in, it was gone. Please can you re-instate it so I can at least have a small chance at getting it right before it's deleted again. I'm pretty annoyed about this, as I just wasted 30 minutes of my life on this, only for you to arbitrarily wipe it out without even giving me any chance to respond - shouldn't there be at least some semblance of fairness in giving contributors at least a few hours to respond to your personal decision to delete something before you go ahead with it?? It doesn't really seem like good practice for editors to be able to do this so quickly and seemingly vindictively. tribute bands inclusion

(See Above) Also, having had a good look through the page on tribute acts the reasons given for deletion of my page should apply equally to about 70% of the other bands listed on there. Please can you also delete all those pages for the sake of fairness? Thanks. Rob hirst 15:49, 4 December 2007 (UTC) Rob.[reply]

Amesoeurs article detetion

I would just like to protest the deletion of the (unfinished) article on Amesoeurs. Following this through to its logical conclusion would mean the deletion of articles on Alcest and Peste Noire among others, being bands of the same standing which share members etc.

Would you care to comment?

ListenUp speedy deletion

I get that you thought the first two were spam. But how is the last paragraph that I posted spam? It had facts about the business. How am I suppose to write on this subject ? There is my paragraph below. I am new to Wikipedia (obviously) and it seems like there has been some kind of secret science to posting that admins don't wnat to tell to new users. An encyclopedia article is factual and there are many on companies. This is the article I'd like to write on please explain what the best way to go about doing it is without being spam.

Also, I understand this might not be long enough to be an article. Can it be a stub?

Listen Up is a privately owned retail corporation founded by Steven Weiner and Walton Stinson. Its doors opened on October 10, 1972 in Denver, Colorado. The high end audio/video retailer remains open for business in the exact location it first opened its doors at 680 S. Pearl S. The specialty retailer has grown from one retail store front to three, adding Boulder in 1980 and Colorado Springs in 1989. Adjacent to the Denver store exists an additional commercial retail store and an independent repair shop all acting as subsidiaries to the corporate office now located on E. Evans in Denver.

So why wouldn't you indicate that instead of deleting it and then threatening me. I am happy to meet wikipedia's criteria, but I've found no where that describes the basic criteria yet. I've found out by clicking on link after link after link and there has yet to be a direct -do this- from wikipedia. I have several third party sources talking about ListenUp. Most are magazines, but I also have a book referencing them. They're articles not written by ListenUp. And so I will try again to write the article, but I'll have to do some more research on exactly how to quote and reference them. I'm telling you this so you don't get frustrated and block me. If you have any articles I should use as an example that would be great. I'll look for some how to pages on wikipedia to guide me too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AdrienneAA (talkcontribs) 21:25, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ekotren

Hello, the second version that you deleted said they are currently on a national tour as also mentioend on the talk page. Wouldn't that count as claim of importance? --Tikiwont (talk) 16:33, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't want to imply that you're overreacting, but just that I saw some improvements over the first version that i deleted myself even though it is indeed unclear if it would survive an AfD. As I have to leave now, I merely just referred the creator here.--Tikiwont (talk) 16:46, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
