35°54′3″S 150°8′43″E / 35.90083°S 150.14528°E Moruya Airport (IATA: MYA, ICAO: YMRY) is an airport in Moruya, New South Wales, Australia.
Built in 1942, at Moruya Heads by the RAAF consisting of three runways. Moruya was home to the No 11 Operational Base Unit to provide support for RAAF aircraft utilising the airfield.
Only two runways are operational today. There are plans to rename the airport Moruya- South Coast International Airport, reflecting the new international services. New airline, CP Air is going to start international services from the airport, initally to New Zealand and later to asia. The aircraft that are going to be used are the Fokker 100 and Boeing 737-700. Macau based, Metis TransPacific Airlines has announced that it is going to commence non-stop, four times a week services to Macau using Boeing 747-300 aircraft.
