Because Faltarego was envisioned as a creative (though anonymous) force, there is no reason to imagine there are any limits on what it might create. Therefore, it seems perfectly reasonable that Faltarego might create alternate identities of its own. If this happens (as, indeed it might already have done), then it stands to reason that these second-generation identities would possess the same attributes and abilities as the original. Herein lies the danger: If each successive generation of identities creates a number of new identities, the growth in numbers will be nothing short of exponential. This catastrophic chain of events will, in a very short amount of time, clog the biosphere and extinguish all life on Earth.

Faltarego (created 2004; host body born 1960) is a person of indeterminate identity who resides in Nova Scotia, Canada and wishes to contribute in some small way to the Wikipedia world. A frequent user of Wikipedia, Faltarego was known to mention it so frequently in the workplace, that a coworker, who was also a Facebook friend, bestowed the (Facebook) superlative "most likely to turn to Wikipedia for all of life's questions." Ultimately, Faltarego decided to create a Wikipedia account and look for things to do.

Origin

Faltarego was created spontaneously when a person (that is, a specific individual possessed of an actual identity) decided on one cold, wintry day in 2004 (this date is apocryphal) that it might be a good idea to create things anonymously and not be a credit-seeking accolade-whore. The moment this person came up with the name, Faltarego immediately appeared. This new non-identity has been rampaging ever since, creating things and leaving no trace of who or what created them.

Dangers
