Néstor Silvera is an Argentine football striker. He was born on March 14 1977, in the city of Comodoro Rivadavia in Chubut Province Argentina.
Silvera began his career in 1994 at local side Comisión de Actividades Infantiles, he played for them in the lower leagues for 3 seasons before earning a move to Huracán in the Primera Division. After one season he moved on to Unión.
In 2001 Silvera was signed by Independiente, in the Apertura 2002 tournament, he played an important role in helping Independiente claim their first Argentine league title since Clausura 1994. He was top scorer of Apertura 2002 with 16 goals.
In 2003 Silvera was sold to Mexican side Tigres, where he became equal top scorer in the Primera División de México for the Clausura 2004 tournament.
In 2006 he made his return to Argentinian football with San Lorenzo and in 2007 he helped the club to win the Clausura tournament.
