The HTC Titan, as it is referred to under its FCC registration, is an update to the HTC Apache. It is a Windows Mobile 6.0 device and sold as the HTC Mogul by Sprint, PPC-6800 by Alltel and Bell Mobility, P4000 on Telus Mobility, XV6800 by Verizon Wireless, and also as the P4000 Titan. It improves upon the HTC Apache by having an internal antenna, more storage memory, and EVDO Rev. 0 that can be upgraded to EVDO Rev. A, which is faster than EVDO Rev. 0 in both upstream and downstream connections. The Mogul, as sold by Sprint, has EVDO Rev. 0 and an upgrade to Rev. A will be available in the first quarter of 2008. The Mogul is another device in the new wave of smartphones to be released in recent years. The Windows Mobile 6 operating system is the newest version to to be released, and includes Office Mobile along with HTML email through Microsoft Outlook Mobile. The device is designed to act as an MP3 player as well with music stored on a microSD memory card that can be removed and replaced to and from the device. In addition to external memory storage, music can be directly download from the carrier's Sprint Music Store. The Mogul supports a 2 megapixel camera along with camcorder capabilities. Media via the device's camera or camcorder can be stored to the phone's internal memory or can be placed onto an external storage device (see: microSD memory card).
