Jalsa (Telugu: జల్సా, English translation: Fun) is an upcoming 2008 film directed by Trivikram Srinivas, who returns after directing blockbuster, Athadu and produced by Allu Aravind under Geetha Arts banner. The film stars Pawan Kalyan, Ileana D'Cruz, Parvati Melton, & Kamalinee Mukherjee in pivotal roles. The music soundtrack of the film, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, was launched on February 29, 2008. The film was originally planned to be released on March 27, 2008 but because of the delay in the Digital Intermediate (DI) process, the film will be releasing on April 2, 2008.

The soundtrack of the film was launched on February 29,the movie will be launching on April 2 2008. The audio rights were sold to Aditya Music for 90 lakhs[2][3], the highest for a Telugu film ever in the recent times.[4] The music got very good reviews from websites[5][6][7] and an excellent response from the public itself.[8] The music has been topping the charts since its release.[9][10]

Trivia

  • For the first time in Tollywood, the music launch of a Telugu film was telecasted live in five news channels (TV9, TV5, E TV 2 and NTV) and one Hindi Channel (Aaj Tak).[13]
