Rich Man, Poor Man was a 1976 American television miniseries based on a 1969 novel by Irwin Shaw.

Broadcast in eight episodes from February 1 to March 15, 1976 on ABC, the twelve hour miniseries was one of the earliest such TV miniseries, and its ratings success led to other series, including Roots.

The story contrasts the lives of a pair of immigrant brothers in the United States from 1945 to 1965, successful businessman Rudy Jordache (Peter Strauss) and hot-headed boxer Tom Jordache (Nick Nolte). Rudy became romantically involved with and married Julie Prescott (Susan Blakely).
