Atlantis is a shareware word processor, offering standard features also found in other programs and adding some unique features.

Features
Standard Features
The standard features of Atlantis Word Processor include the common word processor features of bookmarks and hyperlinks, sections, newspaper columns, headers and footers, footnotes and endnotes, fields, styles, as well as bulleted and numbered lists.
In addition, Atlantis has a Backup Files feature. When this feature is enabled, Atlantis creates automatic and regular backups of all open documents. Successive versions of each document are saved to a special folder. This is so that earlier versions of the documents can be accessible, especially in the case that a past mistake was made before the document was most recently saved.
Another standard feature is Power Type, a word completion feature that collects statistical information about one's word usage and then tries to predict the most likely ending of a word the user has begun typing. It can also be used to automatically type collocations and sentence fragments.

Spellcheck and Auto Correct
Atlantis also offers a spellchecker. Spellchecking can be run either after you typed a document or automatically while typing. The Atlantis AutoCorrect feature tries to fix punctuation errors and common syntax mistakes. Finally, Atlantis also offers automated hyphenation.
Privacy
Atlantis allows the user to encrypt documents with up to 256-bit keys.
