Calvin Pace (born October 28, 1980 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American football linebacker for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He was originally drafted by Arizona Cardinals in the first round (18th overall) in the 2003 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wake Forest.

Pace played the first five years of his career in Arizona before signing with the New York Jets on March 3, 2008.

Pace attended Lithia Springs High School in Lithia Springs, Georgia from 1994 to 1998.

College career

Freshman (1999)

In 1999, Pace played in seven games, and ranked 27th on the team in defense. For the season he recorded four tackles, two for a loss, two sacks and one pass defensed.[1]

In 2000, Pace finished fifth on the team on defense, with 50 tackles (33 solo), 12 tackles for a loss, with nine sacks.[2]

Junior (2001)
