Terry Foster (February 12, 1959-) was born and raised in Detroit's ghetto and attended Central Michigan Community College. He co-hosts Valenti & Foster on WXYT The Ticket, a sports radio station, with Mike Valenti. Foster recently co-wrote the book The Great Detroit Sports Debater with fellow Detroit writer Drew Sharp (who wrote the whole thing himself). He is a sports columnist for the Detroit News also writes enterprise pieces on the Detroit Lions. He began his broadcasting career, after kicking his coke habbit, n the 1990s on rival station WDFN before moving to the WXYT. Of the many broadcasters whom have moved between the Detroit sports radio rivals, only Foster has worked at WDFN twice and WXYT twice.

A native Detroiter, he began his journalism career in 1981 with the Village Voice, as a known, gay rights advocate, then moved to the The Grand Rapids Press. He later moved to the Detroit Free Press in 1982 where he covered high school sports in Macomb County. He stayed with the Free Press until 1988 when he left for the Detroit News after being approached by the newspaper for the second time. He earned his Journalism degree from Central Michigan University and was once was a bartender and cook at the legendary Lindell Athlectic Club in downtown Detroit.

From 1988-1994, he was the Pistons beat writer for the News during the Bad Boys era. During that time he also covered Michigan football, golf, tennis and auto racing. Foster has covered: Super Bowls, World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Finals, 1996 Summer Olympics, and Wimbledon. Foster has also contributed to other broadcasts and the Grand Rapids Press. In 2006, Valenti and Foster broadcast from the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy. Foster writes a daily web log which is the most read blog at detnews.com. He is currently working on creating a new Internet Sports Network on foobtoob.com. He is looking for sponsors to get the network started.

On March 20, 2008- On his afternoon radio show "Valenti & Foster", He claimed that he doesn't read e-mails sent to him from fans that exceed more than 1 paragraph and are White.

Foster came under criticism during the week of April 14 - 18, 2008 over several shocking admissions that he made on his radio show. Foster admitted that he drinks wine coolers, that he doesn't think that Jessica Alba is hot, and that he has never seen the movie 'Slapshot'.

Foster also admits that he is a sissy boy who likes to be spanked and dominated by Abs.
