I have taken the liberty of removing the trivia section as it has

Gizzard shad

Someone mare adept than I should initiate an article on "Gizzard shad" An excellent article(but overlong) "description of the gizzard shad", exists as a reference (non copyright, published by the Maryland dept of fisheries) in the article "gizzard". Don 16:06, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Animals with gizzards

If all birds have gizzards, why are emus, turkeys and chickens specifically mentionned?
