M-940 20mm MPT-SD Round

The M-940 is a 20mm round produced by General Dynamics primarily for an anti-aircraft role. It has a range of over 2000m and a multi-purpose warhead with high explosive and incendiary effects. The round includes a red tracer to aid in targeting. The self destruct feature engages at approx. 2500m and destroys the round preventing it from falling back to earth and inflicting damage to the surrounding territory. The price per round is approximately $27[1].

Sqrambled Scuares (sic) is a game show airing on Charter Cable in North Carolina. It tapes at the BZB Productions studio in Boone, North Carolina, and is hosted by local TV personality Buzz Berry. There are two editions, the "Boone edition" and the "Hickory edition"; the original Boone edition has, thus far, taped over 300 episodes. Gameplay Each player is spotted 100 points to start the game. The game is played on a board of 16 numbered squares. Behind most of the squares are letters that, when placed in the correct order, spell out the name of a person, place, thing, event, or title. Players alternate selecting squares in the hopes of finding letters to place onto the rack of blank spaces the players are faced with. Any letters found are placed into the correct word, but in the order they were uncovered. Each time a player uncovers a letter, he or she is awarded points and given an opportunity to unscramble the squares. 10 points are given for finding a consonant. 20 points are given for finding a vowel. In lieu of selecting a square, the contestant may instead place a letter already on the rack in its correct position, however, the player loses 10 points to place a consonant, or 20 to place a vowel. All letters that are placed, whether by forfeiture of points or a "placer" (see below) are highlighted in yellow. In addition to the letters, there are special items on the game board. Special items Bonus points: The player is awarded the bonus points noted on the card, either 10 or 20, in addition to the 10/20 for the letter. Doubler: The point value of the letter is doubled to 20 for a consonant or 40 for a vowel. Double Doubler: The point value of the letter is quadrupled to 40 for a consonant or 80 for a vowel. Twofer: The player may take an extra turn. Placer: The letter is placed in its proper position on the rack. The player does not lose points for this. Stealer: The player's opponent loses the base value of that letter; those points are transferred to the player who selected that square. In addition, the player receives the base value of the letter again. Prize: The player has a prize added to his or her bank (typically a $20-$25 value). The player is only awarded the prizes in his or her bank if he or she wins the round. Misser: The player's turn ends without a chance to unscramble the squares. No letters are attached to a misser; the players are told how many missers are on the board at the start of the round. Placing letters After selecting a square or placing a letter, the player is given 5 seconds to study the board. If the player thinks he or she knows the solution, he or she must state, "Buzz, I'd like to unscramble the squares." (A player need not select a number in order to attempt to unscramble.) If the player is successful, he or she keeps the prizes in his or her bank; a player unscrambling a set of squares also picks up an additional 100 points, while his or her opponent loses 100 points. Sudden Death If all of the letters are revealed, or 5 minutes elapse during the round, whichever comes first, then no more spaces may be selected, and the players must alternate placing letters (losing points for each letter placed) until one player manages to unscramble the squares. Winning the game The game is played in two rounds. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins $50 in cash and a chance at the "Super Sqramble." Super Sqramble The player faces a board of 9 or 10 letters; 7 or 8 are on a white background, and 2 are on a yellow background. The player has a maximum of 60 seconds to unscramble the word. Once 15 seconds have elapsed, Buzz tells the player where one of the yellow letters falls, and once 30 seconds have elapsed, Buzz tells the player where the other yellow letter falls. At any time during the round, the player may hit a bell, stopping the clock while he or she gives a guess. A correct guess wins the round and a further $100 in cash; on an incorrect guess, the clock is restarted, and the player must resume the round. If time expires, the defeated opponent, who is allowed to watch the round from a special "second chance chair," is brought back onstage and given 5 seconds to unscramble the word. If successful, he or she wins $50 in cash. Home Scramble During the commercials, the viewers at home are given the letters to a thing, and Buzz also gives the viewers the correct position of one of the letters. All viewers who call the studio with the correct solution to the Home Scramble are entered into a drawing for a prize, usually one of several gift certificates to Golden Corral. The names of the winners of the drawing are shown at the beginning of the following show. William Winter is an Australian rules footballer, currently residing in Melbourne, Australia, under contract with the Old Geelong Football club. Drafted under the father-son rule, William has played around 10 games in his first season with the "oggs" (Old Geelong Footballers), attracting the attention of not only local scouts, but AFL coaches alike. Talks to sign Will commenced in the early months of 2008, with figures being thrown around in the realm of 80 000 to 120 000 as a starting salary. Will was not pleased, however, with the punitive offers being hinted at by Mark Avery (President of the OGGS) and the OGG's recruiting panel, and famously stated at a private function, "You can't buy a Ferrari with loose change, what makes Aves think he can try to do the same with me?". Good friend of Will and team-mate, Tom Coish, was recruited under a historic three way deal with various VFL and AFL teams, of which the result was an OGGS u/19 team of Will and Tom under the same banner. Will has hinted towards contract renuals, and is said to be under high pressure from his main sponser, nike, to stay with the OGGS in season 2009. Whispers of figures in the 1 000 000 to 1 100 000 range have been lurking around town, but Will has refused to comment on the matter, requesting an official press conference if he's expected to speak to the Australian public. Matt Lee started out with cover bands at Palms Junior High School in 1972. He played with now renowned jazz saxophonist Richard Elliot. Their band was called Norman Nostril and the Nasty Nosepickers. He joined his first signed act called Blow-Up (Bomp Records)in 1978. He later (1980)joined Ray Campi's Rockabilly Rebels(Rolling Rock Records) and played with them for about 2 years. The next band was The D.I.'s. He joined the agressive punk act in very late 1983. Their first record Lock'n Load was a five song ep on indie label PeeVee Records. The cover was slammed by Tipper gore on live news channels as "...the kind of trash ...." that she and a group of parents she represented wanted parental guidance stickers on records at the time. The record sold out in 5 days flat right after that. He was in The D.I.'s and joined The Divine Horsemen at the request of his friend Robyn Jameson who owned the rehearsal facility the D.I.'s and the Divine Horsemen rehearsed at called Hully Gully Studios. Lee did a whole record for them later entitled Devil's River-New rose Records(1986) . When he quit the Divine horsemen, the lead singer/writer Chris D. destroyed the tapes and re-recorded all but two songs from the original sessions that do appear on the record. Those are "If Only I Could", and "Hey Little Sister". He even re-recorded Lee's co-composition "My Sin" out of anger. Lee was then asked to join the band X for a short while. (1985-1986) After that he joined up with punk icon Rik L.Rik, who's real name was Richard Elerick. (1987)No recordings were made of that band(Wild Angels). The next band was the Mighty hornets(1987). The drummer,Beachy is very good frinds with Billy idol, and needless to say, the Mighty Hornets played many shows with Billy.One was the wrap up party for Oliver Stone's movie "The Doors" at a downtown L.A. location called Myron's Ballroom. Another was in Aspen,Colorado at the then China Club where on the first night of arrival Billy was asked to do a one off my the promoters to sell more tickets for the proceeding nights. Billy got on stage with the Mighty Hornets backing him up and the audience stormed the stage. The police came in riot gear to extract Billy and the band successfully and safely. That was new years 1990-1991. Lee then played in a band formed by Graham Daddy and Steve Whittaker called The Premiers. The drummer was Brian Glascock from the Motels and Jeff Jourard from the same band sharing guitar duties. (1993).It was on an out of town date they opened for Mick Taylor(rolling Stones) and Terry Reid. The back up band was the Joe Walsh band . Rick the Bass Player took lee under his wing and introduced him to producer Richard Bosworth who was also in attendance at the show. Bosworth helped Lee do a collection of solo work called "Spite". The songs were all about the nasty things people do to each other in a very sarcastic light. Lee formed a band called the same featuring members of Life,Sex,and Death Alex Kane-gtr, and Eddie Reuter-drums. In 1996 Matt Lee was flown by Roi Pearce of the Fourskins to jolly old England. He lived there recording and touring with Roi under the band name The Last Resort. Shortly thereafter Lee moved in with new girlfriend and working partner Chrissy Shefts. They recorded to no avail and then separated in 2004. Lee started working with Donnie Vie of Enuff'z Nuff in 2003 and worked with Vie doing shows and home demos until personal differences separated them in 2007. Matt Lee is currently featured on a new record release by his band The D.I.'s on Hep Cat Records. He is also playing with a new group called Karma that will release a record in the very near future as well(2008). Matt Lee was born Matthew M. Israel in Los angeles,Ca. on October 23, 1959. Matt Lee started out with cover bands at Palms Junior High School in 1972. He played with now renowned jazz saxophonist Richard Elliot. Their band was called Norman Nostril and the Nasty Nosepickers. He joined his first signed act called Blow-Up (Bomp Records)in 1978. He later (1980)joined Ray Campi's Rockabilly Rebels(Rolling Rock Records) and played with them for about 2 years. The next band was The D.I.'s. He joined the agressive punk act in very late 1983. Their first record Lock'n Load was a five song ep on indie label PeeVee Records. The cover was slammed by Tipper gore on live news channels as "...the kind of trash ...." that she and a group of parents she represented wanted parental guidance stickers on records at the time. The record sold out in 5 days flat right after that. He was in The D.I.'s and joined The Divine Horsemen at the request of his friend Robyn Jameson who owned the rehearsal facility the D.I.'s and the Divine Horsemen rehearsed at called Hully Gully Studios. Lee did a whole record for them later entitled Devil's River-New rose Records(1986) . When he quit the Divine horsemen, the lead singer/writer Chris D. destroyed the tapes and re-recorded all but two songs from the original sessions that do appear on the record. Those are "If Only I Could", and "Hey Little Sister". He even re-recorded Lee's co-composition "My Sin" out of anger. Lee was then asked to join the band X for a short while. (1985-1986) After that he joined up with punk icon Rik L.Rik, who's real name was Richard Elerick. (1987)No recordings were made of that band(Wild Angels). The next band was the Mighty hornets(1987). The drummer,Beachy is very good frinds with Billy idol, and needless to say, the Mighty Hornets played many shows with Billy.One was the wrap up party for Oliver Stone's movie "The Doors" at a downtown L.A. location called Myron's Ballroom. Another was in Aspen,Colorado at the then China Club where on the first night of arrival Billy was asked to do a one off my the promoters to sell more tickets for the proceeding nights. Billy got on stage with the Mighty Hornets backing him up and the audience stormed the stage. The police came in riot gear to extract Billy and the band successfully and safely. That was new years 1990-1991. Lee then played in a band formed by Graham Daddy and Steve Whittaker called The Premiers. The drummer was Brian Glascock from the Motels and Jeff Jourard from the same band sharing guitar duties. (1993).It was on an out of town date they opened for Mick Taylor(rolling Stones) and Terry Reid. The back up band was the Joe Walsh band . Rick the Bass Player took lee under his wing and introduced him to producer Richard Bosworth who was also in attendance at the show. Bosworth helped Lee do a collection of solo work called "Spite". The songs were all about the nasty things people do to each other in a very sarcastic light. Lee formed a band called the same featuring members of Life,Sex,and Death Alex Kane-gtr, and Eddie Reuter-drums. In 1996 Matt Lee was flown by Roi Pearce of the Fourskins to jolly old England. He lived there recording and touring with Roi under the band name The Last Resort. Shortly thereafter Lee moved in with new girlfriend and working partner Chrissy Shefts. They recorded to no avail and then separated in 2004. Lee started working with Donnie Vie of Enuff'z Nuff in 2003 and worked with Vie doing shows and home demos until personal differences separated them in 2007. Matt Lee is currently featured on a new record release by his band The D.I.'s on Hep Cat Records. He is also playing with a new group called Karma that will release a record in the very near future as well(2008).
