Merging articles

As there was no conversation whatsoever to support the merger, the consensus has been met by silence to keep the two articles, List of Mega Man Star Force episodes and List of Mega Man Star Force episodes (original series), separate from one another. -Crimsonseiko 19:17, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cute. Someone challenges the article's existence but doesn't put the effort in to explain their position. I hope you realize that proposing a merger requires you to voice your reasons in the respective Talk page. Since you have not, you've already greatly weakened your position to merge the articles.

Compare this article to List of MegaMan NT Warrior episodes. The NT Warrior anime, Star Force's predecessor, has five separate series spanning over 200 episodes, and each series has its own separate page for summaries and additional data.

Star Force will be getting its first separate series this November 3rd called Tribe, and it's already got 55 episodes under its belt in the first series. Obviously, we can't have summaries for both series on the same article. That'll get massive. And if Star Force goes down the same road as NT Warrior, which it more than likely will seeing how Capcom is marketing it... These articles will need made eventually.

And for all the inevitable summary pages there are going to be, a big sturdy episode list is a great connector between all of them. I admit it might feel a bit premature to have this set-up before Tribe has aired, but it's going to air in a month, and these articles will need to be made by then for better organization. I went ahead and made them, so why get rid of them? In a month, I'd just split up everything and do it again, because it needs done...

If there are no replies in a couple of days, I'm going to remove the suggestion for merging.
