Dear Science is the third studio album from New York's TV on the Radio. It was released on September 22, 2008 in most countries, with a release of September 23, 2008 in North America. The album was released on Interscope Records, with 4AD taking the worldwide distribution.[1] The album leaked to file-sharing websites on the 7th of September. Despite the marketed release date of September 23, the album was released to the American iTunes store for downloading on September 16.
On August 11 music website DrownedinSound.com ran a comprehensive track-by-track preview of the album,[2]. On August 19 the track "Golden Age" became available for streaming on the band's official website. The track "Dancing Choose" is available for streaming as well.
