Sineserye Presents, is a primetime show broadcast by ABS-CBN. It literally means a film serialized to a TV series which is the show's concept.

Origins

In 2005, ABS-CBN first used the term Sineserye when they launched the TV series, Ang Panday. They used it again when they aired the TV series version of Bituing Walang Ningning. Kampanerang Kuba is also considered a Sineserye, although ABS-CBN called it a fantaserye.

Season 1

Every Sineserye lasts sometimes for a month or two, having up to 30 Episodes.

Diether Ocampo, the Primetime's Queen of Drama Kristine Hermosa and Rica Peralejo filled in the shoes of Edu Manzano, Vilma Santos and Dina Bonnevie, as they make a modern TV series version of the classic film, Palimos ng Pag-ibig.

Heart Evangelista stars as the monkey-looking woman who will transform into a beautiful protagonist in the TV series version of Hiram na Mukha. It was once played by Nanette Medved.

Oyo Boy Sotto and the Goddess of Fantaseries'' Anne Curtis revives the 1993 film of Aga Muhlach and Aiko Melendez.

The classic film Natutulog Pa Ang Diyos was be revived by Roxanne Guinoo, Jake Cuenca and Joross Gamboa, and was starred before by Lorna Tolentino, Ricky Davao and Gary Valenciano.

Season 2: The Susan Roces Cinema Collection

For the second season of Sineserye Presents, a tribute to Queen of Philippine Movies, Ms. Susan Roces, is made. ABS-CBN presents The Susan Roces Cinema Collection, it would feature her horror-thriller movies that made their mark in Philippine cinema now making a comeback, serialized in television via Sineserye Presents.

Ruth (played by Jodi Sta. Maria), a disturbed soul, comes back to haunt the living in order to find out her husband's true love. Kris Aquino revived Roces's role as Barbara. Ms. Roces herself is in the cast as Amanda, the mother of Ruth and Barbara.

Claudine Barretto plays Angela Cortez, a reporter who is prophesized to bear the demon's son in the remake of Susan Roces's 1977 horror-suspense-thriller film Maligno.

Maricel Soriano will play and revive Susan Roces's role in Florinda, a suspense, horror and drama film in 1973.[1]
