The Family is an eight-part documentary first shown on Channel 4 on 17 September 2008. It follows the Hughes Family, consisting of father, Simon and wife, Jane and their children Emily, Jessica, Charlotte and Tom for 100 days and nights. The project aims to gain a picture of everyday family life in the United Kingdom.
