:I have reverted the same edit multiple times. If there is a legitimate date when this show is planning to go off the air, please point to a reliable source, and I will leave the edits intact. Until then, I will keep reverting it as unsourced. [[User talk:HokieRNB|Hokie]][[User:HokieRNB|RNB]] 20:56, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Trivia section

This will quickly become unuseful and unmanageable if people keep adding random observations from the shows. Material that is added should be of encyclopedic character and quality. HokieRNB 19:32, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, but that doesn't mean everything should have been removed. Like the trivia tag suggests, some of the following (particularly recurring themes and character attributes) ought to be reintegrated into the document under character descriptions or show format. - Brog Likes Rocks, 5/18/07

Please find sources that would indicate these "facts" should be part of the article:

  • Rocket's engines are not actually rocket engines, but appear to be jet engines. Rocket has a Backup Booster which does appear to be a rocket; it is used on a small number of missions in season 1, but more frequently in season 2.
  • Rocket's nemesis, Big Jet, which appears four times during the first season of the show, debuted in the episode "Hungarian Hiccups".
  • Big Jet appears to be modelled on the Russian MiG-29 Fulcrum - integrated into recurring minor characters section. It's linked to the wiki article for the Mig-29 and the resembelence is pretty clear.
  • In the episode "The Birthday Balloons" Annie celebrates her birthday party in Antarctica, after they got all of her balloons back.
  • Rocket has a variety of tools and accessories that aid the team in completing their missions. Some of their names are: Look-and-Listen Scope, Grab-Nabber, Bigger Digger, Clapper-Catcher, Back-up Booster, Drum Thumper, Breeze Blower, Blazer Laser, and Hammer Whammer. Rocket also has various tools used for cleaning. Many of these are too large to fit within the non-passenger area of Rocket, and collectively would be much larger than Rocket himself, thus Rocket stores his tools in what is sometimes called "hammerspace".
  • Rocket is given power through patting. The explanation given (in the Pilot episode) is that patting helps Rocket "feel the rhythm of the beat". No external fuel source is identified, so Rocket could be considered to be a Perpetual Motion Machine, although in season 2 is discovered that Rocket uses "Music Gas".
  • In the episode "How We Became The Little Einsteins: The True Story", Rocket was an ornament on a baby mobile that Leo had possessed, which eventually grew up, as did the characters.
  • Rocket built his own home.
  • Leo's first word was 'Rocket'
  • On the Halloween special episode, Quincy is dressed as a bat, Leo as a spider, June as a witch and Annie as a pumpkin.
  • Besides dancing, June also is interested in astronomy, and looking at the stars.
  • In season 1, Annie wears a blue dress. In season 2, her dress is pink.
  • It is rumoured that in season 2, a new team will be presented and will be composed by teenage cousins of the main characters, and will be named "Big Einsteins".
  • In the Halloween special, the characters are all dressed up to go "trick-or-treat". Leo is dressed as a Spider, June is dressed as a Witch, Quincy is dressed as Bat and Annie is dressed as a Pumpkin. Plus, Rocket's interior is decorated with Hallowe'en decorations.

National origins

Unless someone can introduce a citation regarding the national origins of the characters, please refrain from guessing at them. HokieRNB (talk) 19:16, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ending?

Why does someone keep inserting an ending date? Has this been announced? What's the source? HokieRNB 13:08, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted the same edit multiple times. If there is a legitimate date when this show is planning to go off the air, please point to a reliable source, and I will leave the edits intact. Until then, I will keep reverting it as unsourced. HokieRNB 20:56, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
