The Ohio Lottery is run by the state of Ohio. Its games include Pick 3 and Pick 4 ("numbers games"), Rolling Cash 5, Mega Millions, and many instant tickets.

In 1973 State Issue 1, the creation of the Ohio Lottery Commission, was approved by voters. The Lottery's first game went on sale in August 1974.

Sunday drawings were added on May 20, 2007. Rolling Cash 5 is now daily, while Pick 3 and Pick 4 are each drawn 14 times weekly.
