Veerasamy (Template:Lang-ta) is a low-budget Tamil film released in 2007. The film was fully made by veteran actor and producer | Karadi Kong. This film shows the dubious talents of romance, action and emotion with dialogues he is famous for. This is the first time Karadi acted together with Mumtaj.

Introduction

The movie is basically a political story with a tinge of love and more action. In the movie, Mr.T.Rajender is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Unlike common corrupt politicians, he is very straight forward. The police and the government employees are made to work properly under the his control.

Plot

Basically the notion of the story is that if any problem occurs to public, Karadi will be there to help them. Mumtaj falls in love and tries to marry him.

Meanwhile there is another character in the story, Sheela, his sister. He generally opposes his sister's love for her childhood lover.

The sad ending of this movie is that due to some false witness, Karadi is adjudged of involvment in corruption. On hearing this he dies of Heart Attack. He is not able to bear that shock and dishonour to his name. The major twist in climax is when he dies, Mumtaj, the true lover of Karadisamy also drops dead.

The movie is well known for its illogical scenes. For instance, there is a scene where Sheela speaks in support of T. Rajender, saying that she will not sacrifice her brother for the sake of her lover. In the immediate next scene however, she threatens to elope with her lover if T. Rajender does not consent to their marriage.

In the movie, the Karadi (and Mumtaj) died in the end. Unfortunately before that several audiences in some cineplexes in Madurai, Chennai and Tiruchi were found dead due to unknown circumstances after seeing the movie. Postmortem reports confirmed that they died of boredom and frustration.
