As a sophomore in 2002, he started 10 games, and helped the team average 338.2 yards-per-game. As a junior in 2003, he started 11 games. He was named a [[team captain]], he also helped the team average 30.1 points and 355.5 yards-per-game. He didn't allow [[Quarterback sack]] and allowed just one Quarterback pressure all season. He had 32 knockdown blocks and a 93.5% blocking consistency.

Nathan Robert Hunt (born March 3, 1981 in Template:City-state) is an American football center who is currently a free agent in the Arena Football League as well as the National Football League. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at North Dakota State.

Hunt has also been a member of the Denver Broncos, Rhein Fire, Kansas City Chiefs, New Orleans VooDoo, and New Orleans Saints.

Hunt was selected in the fifth round (165th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. However, he was waived by the team on August 30, 2005 after training camp. He was then signed to the Denver Broncos practice squad on September 3, 2005.

Hunt signed a futures contract with the Broncos on January 23, 2006. He played for the Rhein Fire of NFL Europa in 2006. On February 12, 2007 he signed a two-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.[1] On September 1, he was released by the Chiefs.[2]

Arena Football League (2008 - present)

On November 28, 2007, Hunt signed with the New Orleans VooDoo of the Arena Football League.[3]

On July 1, 2008, Hunt was signed by the New Orleans Saints.[4] While with the Saints, he played in just one preseason game, against the Arizona Cardinals, and was inactive against Houston and Cincinnati.[5] However, on August 25, he was waived by the team.[6]

On June 24, 2008, the VooDoo placed him on the Exempt: Other league list, because he was attending training camp with the New Orleans Saints.[7] On September 22, the VooDoo activated him from the Exempt: Other league list.[8] However, the New Orleans VooDoo ceased operations on October 13, 2008,[9] which entered Hunt as well as every other player for the VooDoo into the 2009 AFL Dispersal Draft.
