The Norwegian Record Charts (nor: VG-lista) is a Norwegian record chart. It is weekly presented in the newspaper VG and the NRK program Topp 20. It is considered the main Norwegian record chart, charting albums and singles from countries and continent around the world. The data is collected by Nielsen Soundscan International and is based on the sales in about 100 shops in Norway. The singles chart started as a top 10 chart in week 42, 1958 and was expanded to a top 20 chart in week 5, 1995. The albums chart started as a top 20 chart in week 1, 1967 and was expanded to a top 40 chart in week 5, 1995.
