In Second Edition, the Etheral Plane was the connecting plane between the Inner and the Prime Material Planes. In 3.0/3.5, the Astral connects the Prime to both the Inner and Outer, with the Etheral Plane just mirroring the Prime. Should a note of this be added to the entry to clarify the difference? As of now, the entry on the Etheral only reflects the 3.0/3.5 viewpoint. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.64.10.249 (talk) 15:25, 5 December 2006 (UTC).<!-- HagermanBot Auto-Unsi |

== Merge raises its ugly head again, but this time with no explanation == |
|||
Someone added a merge tag onto part of this article proposing that it was merged with Plane (Dungeons & Dragons), but did not explain why on the talk page. This is the second proposed merger for the Plane article. There was no clear agreement to merge the first time and as the second merger has no explanation from the proposer, I'm going to yank it. ~~~~ |

All the planes
If someone has a handy reference, please add the names of the other planes and—perhaps—the alignments they're related to. — Frecklefoot | Talk 19:12, Jun 16, 2005 (UTC)
There isn't a need for that when one can just link Inner Plane and Outer Plane or even Plane_(Dungeons_&_Dragons).
AD&D vs 3.0/3.5
In Second Edition, the Etheral Plane was the connecting plane between the Inner and the Prime Material Planes. In 3.0/3.5, the Astral connects the Prime to both the Inner and Outer, with the Etheral Plane just mirroring the Prime. Should a note of this be added to the entry to clarify the difference? As of now, the entry on the Etheral only reflects the 3.0/3.5 viewpoint. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.64.10.249 (talk) 15:25, 5 December 2006 (UTC).
