Please stop signing my edits please. How will I learn if you keep following about after me. it is also somewhat unnerving that you are monitoring my edits and pounce on the chance to sign my comments. Please stop. If i wanted to sign my comments I would do so, and you persistent actions are a determent to my enjoyment and Wikipedia experience.

STOP
This is not a human

You are attempting to contact SineBot, which is an automated program (i.e., a "robot" or "bot").

If you have a bug to report, do not post it here, instead:

Thanks a million. :)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Comment
  1. Why does SineBot keep signing stuff I've already signed?
All comments should have a signature that includes both a link to your user page (slakr) and a datestamp (05:12, 20 August 2007 (UTC)) (per signatures - internal links). This is most easily generated by placing four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your contributions, which makes something like "slakr 05:12, 20 August 2007 (UTC)". If you're still having problems after trying that, post a message to slakr.[reply]
  2. I do sign using ~~~~, but the result includes my username as plain text, not as a link.
You have probably changed the format of your signature. Go to "my preferences", then the "User profile" tab, and check the "Signature" field and the "Treat the above as wiki markup" checkbox. If "Treat the above as wiki markup" is checked, then the "Signature" field should contain wikicode, including something like [[User:Your Username|Your Username]]. If "Treat the above as wiki markup" is unchecked, then the "Signature" field should not contain wikicode.
  3. I don't want my comments signed by SineBot. How do I get it to ignore me or my talk page?
Please use one of the opt-out methods listed on its user page.
  4. SineBot forgot to sign something it should have signed.
Usually this happens because the bot isn't sure if it really should sign something, so it defaults to not signing it (e.g., in cases of complex edits). It does this to avoid being annoying. Other times, a comment might be made when the bot is down for maintenance, so the bot simply never sees it.
  5. SineBot signed something that it genuinely should not have signed.
Please let slakr know-- especially if you think it's not a one-time thing.

Thank you.

You've saved me the trouble of finding you, because we need to discuss the high threat of vandalism. If you listen to what I have to say, we'll be able to discover the culprit of these vandal attacks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Commander Lightning (talkcontribs) 00:01, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Code?

Where is the code for this bot? Many of these bot pages have no links to the codes. travb (talk) 19:15, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is just wrong:
