The British International School of New York offers rolling admissions, so that children can enter the school throughout the year, as long as there is space available in their specific year group. This is particularly helpful for families who have been transferred internationally at short notice.

The British International School of New York was established in 2006 on Waterside Plaza, an upscale development on the banks of the East River in Manhattan complete with views of sea planes landing and taking off and the United Nations Headquarters just up-river.

Facilities include an on-site swimming pool, secured playground, gym hall and Smart Boards in every class-room. French is taught from nursery all the way up the school with other languages available as after-school options. Individual music lessons are also offered in addition to the class lessons, and a Summer Camp is run through the months of June to August.
