December 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to User talk:76.111.64.178, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. —/Mendaliv//Δ's/ 02:59, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Wikipedia talk:User page, even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Kralizec! (talk) 03:57, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for the nice award. I appreciate the thoughtfulness. By the way, I would encourage you to read the page Wikipedia:Why create an account? -- then go ahead and make an account for yourself here on Wikipedia. You have been working to edit pages for more than a few months now. So why not make it official? You can become a part of the community of editors. In that way, you can learn more easily how to build pages and find good references, etc. -- as well as learning the things to avoid when writing these encyclopedia articles. (Although it takes a little time, learning that kind of stuff will definitely help you to avoid the warnings that you have found on your talk page). I hope you will consider this. Thanks again. Area for discussion

I can't tell whether you're deliberately disrupting Wikipedia, or whether you're just confused about a few things and having trouble understanding what you're being asked to do. I can see that you've made some useful, helpful edits, so I think you must not intend to cause disruption, so the block I've put on this ip is merely to prevent further disruption while you discuss the problem with others; once you're ready to edit again, any administrator is welcome to unblock you at your request. The main reason I blocked you is for Wikipedia talk:CactusWriter's Awards. It's nice that you wanted to recognize User:CactusWriter's hard work, but that wasn't a good way to do it. We would put awards on a user's own talk page, and normally we'd shout-out to a good user by putting one award on the talk page with a little thank-you note. What you are doing creates a talk page in the part of the encyclopedia that we use for writing policies and discussing problems and solutions; it isn't the right place for awards. Also, what you're doing creates a talk page with no corresponding article, which doesn't work well at all. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:42, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reflection

On reflection, I think I blocked you prematurely, and have undone that for now. I want to give you an opportunity to get along with other users first; your edits seem to be made in good faith, except for your interactions with other editors. Wikipedia can be a complicated place, with lots of disagreements and lots of rules, and learning to interact politely and reasonably, while learning all the rules you can, is critically important. If you'll return to the good work you were doing making our articles on animation better, and make an effort to learn the rules while interacting politely with other users, then you should be fine. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:55, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, FisherQueen but if I get blocked again, I won't want anything to do with Wikipedia.
I've removed your unblock request; you aren't blocked. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:20, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you FisherQueen, I hope somebody rewards you a barnstar somday. 68.34.4.143 (talk) 16:27, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really like barnstars; I think they're kind of ugly. But the thought behind them is nice; people do stop by sometimes to let me know that something I did was helpful for the encyclopedia. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 16:56, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry if I offendend you. 68.34.4.143 (talk) 17:43, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not offended. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 19:20, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add copyrighted images to an article without a valid fair-use rationale, as you did at List of Peanuts media. Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia, and non-free content is to be used sparingly. faithless (speak) 23:31, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good stuff 68.34.4.143 (talk) 01:44, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Non-barnstars

You keep adding an award to the barnstar page that don't resemble barnstars at all. If you must add a non-barnstar award, please add it to Wikipedia:Personal user awards, where this type of award is permitted.

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Wikipedia:Personal user awards/Actual Users. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing. Renaissancee (talk) 21:20, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry if I offended you sir. 68.34.4.143 (talk) 23:06, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits, such as those you made to Charles M. Schulz. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing. faithless (speak) 22:59, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Faithless, that was not a bad edit, in fact I gave a reason for the edit. see the edit hisory. 68.34.4.143 (talk) 23:06, 3 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

VeggieTales help

It was little more than the push of a button, But you're welcome and I was glad to be able to help. Please do not approach anyone about adminship on my behalf. I would prefer that that did not happen. Thanks anyway. CactusWriter | needles 11:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I again encourage you to register a personal WP account (read WP:WHY), especially since you are trying to maintain talkpages at two public IP accounts which are open to other users. You will be able to create your own username with a personal page and have greater editing privileges. It makes good sense. CactusWriter | needles 11:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
