Henry James Jackson III (born September 19th, 1986), best known by his stage names Lil' Pimp Daddy and now Hen-Jay, is an American expert rapper, singer, recording producer, and an amateur entrepreneur. He has top MySpace best-talented Neo-soul charts in Michigan.
He was originally known as Lil' Pimp Daddy, but then changed lately in 2003 as Hen-Jay by simply using part of his first and last name.
Personal Life
Early Life
Hen-Jay was born and raised with and by both his grandparents (living in separated homes) of Buena Vista, Michigan, the oldest child of his mother and the only son of his father, which led between an sibling sister, and three stepsisters. Hen-Jay grandfather passed at the age of 69 (when Hen-Jay was just 11). Hen-Jay soonly spended part his teenage years influencing music such as joining his schools marching band.
Teen Life
In the summer of 2001, Hen-Jay and his friends has formed a rap/hip hop group named "The Ice Makers", which he produced. After so much frustrations and failer attempts, the group decided to go independently. Hen-Jay quickly tries to form a group himself (freestyle), but the attempt failes. So he decided to go as an solo artist. Hen-Jay then released two freestyle albums back to back, in 2002. In 2004, he had three brain surgeries, which he successfully recovered by five doctors and now has an reaction of seizures.
Current Life
After the surgery in 2005, he gradurated from high school also decided and is scheduled to attend Delta College for the winter in 2009.
Business ventures
Between 2004 and the beginning of 2005, after his surgery Hen-Jay created his own business by creating his own independent record label S-Town Entertainment, which includes S-Town Records. He has taken the roles of executive producer, record producer, producer, songwriter, and now currently the Founder and CEO.
