Operation Linebacker

The Chaffroc was not the device that malfunctioned in the Linebacker mission. It was a different device that used the exhaust from the stacks to carry a bundle of chaff away from the ship as it bloomed. It was used successfully in previous missions. However, during the mission mentioned in the article, instead of launching a bundle, the device misfired and streamed the chaff out. To establish my credentials, I was the operator of that device.
