I figured it. Tonywalton is a troll from 4chan. When I talked to him to tell him to stop harassing me he said "YOU FAIL" and claimed to be an administrator which is obviously a lie. How do you block members of a different website? You should block everyone from 4chan they are nothing but trolls. --72.39.35.178 (talk) 23:54, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

:Incorrect on so many counts. The "you fail" message on my talkpage was from someone else, pointing out that the person (i.e. me) you were threatening with "the mods" was, in fact, a "mod" - otherwise known as an admin or adminstrator. Which in fact I am. My "harassment" was an attempt to get you to behave rationally and discuss what appears to be a contentious edit on the relevant talkpage. And I haven't the foggiest idea what a 4chan is. A TV station? I suggest you familiarise yourself with the way Wikipedia works before editing further, when your block expires. Should you wish to "get me in trouble" do, please, place adminhelp on this page and ask for the matter to be listed on Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page Advertising has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Until It Sleeps 23:12, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page Advertising. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. Bsadowski1 (talk) 23:15, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Advertising. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. CTJF83Talk 23:17, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Advertising. Until It Sleeps 23:20, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Before making that change again, please read WP:NPOV, WP:NOT and WP:SOAP. Also WP:NOR. Tonywalton Talk 23:29, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Right. Now you may have calmed down, please do not make that change again. If you have a reliable, verifiable source for what you are saying, discuss the change on the article's talk page. Altering it again will be seen as disruptive editing and will lead to your editing privilege being suspended. Please note also there are no "mods" on this Wiki. There are, instead, rules. Tonywalton Talk 23:34, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, discuss it on the talkpage. Thank you. Tonywalton Talk 23:36, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 23:43, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you SineBot. Could you help me deal with this guy? He has a million different names and keeps erasing my edits. It is frustrating because he does not know anything about media but he keeps changing my edits. --72.39.35.178 (talk) 23:46, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

48 hour block

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text Your reason here below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. PhilKnight (talk) 23:47, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PhilKnight yes I believe it is unjustified. How do I get this guy in trouble? Please explain more to me. I put the unblock thing up.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Guy who doesn't know what he is talking about is erasing everything and he is a mod!

No valid unblock reason given. OhNoitsJamie Talk 00:02, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
