The Hermit Beetle (Osmoderma eremita) is a species of beetle in family Scarabaeidae. It is found in Austria, Belarus, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Moldova, Republic of, the Netherlands (extinct), Norway, Poland, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
