Revision as of 12:09, 3 April 2009

AeroMobile was established as a joint venture between ARINC and Telenor in 2006. Headquartered in London with operations in Oslo, Dubai, Singapore and Seattle; AeroMobile is a global independent cellular provider serving the aviation sector.

In full commercial service with Emirates Airline, operational on Malaysia Airlines and commitments from Qantas, V Australia and Saudi Arabian Airlines, AeroMobile is also teamed with Panasonic Avionics Corporation to offer a fully IFE integrated solution, in addition to their stand-alone solution. Voice, SMS and GPRS services are available using the passenger's own cell phone, PDA or BlackBerry, at a cost of usage set by the passenger's existing mobile phone subscription.
