Speedy deletion of Charlestons

A tag has been placed on Charlestons requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. HELP

The page Jon & Kate Plus 8 that I am working on keeps getting vandalized and people keep using the talk page as a forum. All the recent gossip about the show and the intimate lives of charcters are not notable and shouldn't be in the article. Myself and others keep changing the edits but I believe the page needs to be semi-protected, since the Wikipedia article is one of the first things that pops up if you type "Jon & Kate Plus 8" into a search engine. I don't know how to semi-protect a page. I looked it up, but all I could find was the criteria for semi-protection. RCNARANJA 23:22, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
