Tehran Times is an English-language daily newspaper based in Tehran, Iran. It was established in 1979 with the policy that "is not the newspaper of the government; it must be a loud voice of the Islamic Revolution and the loudspeaker of the oppressed people of the world".[1] It is affiliated to the Islamic Propagation Organization.[citation needed] Its managing director Parviz Esmaeili also runs the Mehr News Agency.

Notable columnists include Hamid Golpira and Hassan Hanizadeh.[citation needed]
