Lucy Hanna is an artist, photographer, and filmaker based in Seattle, Washington and San Francisco, CA.

She is perhaps best known for her photographs of Mia Zapata, a Seattle singer that fronted the punk band The Gits.

Hanna's photographs of Zapata were featured prominently in the documentary film "The Gits"[1] and in many periodicals including SPIN, CMJ, Seattle Weekly, Dazed & Confused, Rockrgirl, The Seattle Times[2], and Rolling Stone. As well as being featured in episodes of the television shows 48 Hours and Dateline NBC.

She has attended the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) studying under artist Tony Labat and filmmaker Jay Rosenblatt.
