Ann Leslie is claimed to have been born in Pakistan in 1941. Pakistan as a nation state did not exist until 14th August 1947. Till then it was all British India. So to say that Dame Ann was born in Pakistan is inaccurate. A better way to put it will be to say she was born in British India. If we have specific information about where she was born, for example Lahore or Karachi or Peshawar, etc. then we could clarify that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Arindam.mukherjee (talk • contribs) 08:42, 3 May 2009 (UTC) |

Doubt
In her written autobiography, Ann Leslie claims that a female *** was bullied at a school Leslie went to. No details are given, which, if given, would enable any one to investigate. No name is given, for instance. It is not clear why a *** was sent to a non-***-ish school in the first place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.44.108.96 (talk) 11:27, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
India
Ann Leslie seems to have been to an Anglican school in India. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.211.206.83 (talk) 16:01, 14 November 2008 (UTC) This has now been put in the article, partly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.158.207.21 (talk) 11:41, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
