Portisham was a Royal Navy Minesweeper of the Ham class. She got sold in 1989 and was inactive and for sale until 2007, when she was procured by a private individual for converion to a liveaboard boat. She is currently under Irish Flag with Home port Dublin and is the second biggest private vessel in the Irish registry.

Their names were all chosen from villages ending in -ham. The minesweeper was named after Portisham in Dorset.

After her sale in 1989 she was laid up and for sale in a boatyard in Essex. She was procured for conversion to a liveaboard ship by an Irish national in 2007 and is currently the second biggest private vessel und Irish Flag. Her home port is Dublin.
