Georgia Elizabeth Moffett (born 25 December 1984 in West London) is an English actress. She is perhaps best known for her roles in Where the Heart Is and The Bill and her one-time role as Jenny in the long-running BBC science fiction series Doctor Who. She also had a lead role in the programme Spooks: Code 9. In August 2009 it was announced she would be joining the cast of Casualty.[1]

Career

Moffett attended St Edward's School in Oxford, and has performed alongside her father, Peter Davison, in Red Dawn, a Doctor Who audio drama[2]. She has also appeared in television dramas, such as Peak Practice, Like Father Like Son and The Bill as DI Samantha Nixon's wayward daughter, Abi.

She played downtrodden Alice Harding in the ITV1 drama Where the Heart Is for two series in 2004 and 2005, and starred in the comedy-drama, Bonkers, as Debbie Hooper in 2007. She appeared alongside her father in the BBC sitcom, Fear, Stress & Anger. In April 2008, she appeared as Officer Penny Bishop in the BBC sitcom My Family.

In May 2008, Moffett gained national exposure in the UK by starring as the Doctor's daughter, Jenny, in the Doctor Who episode "The Doctor's Daughter".[3]

In August 2008, Moffett starred in series one of BBC Three's spy spin-off Spooks: Code 9 as Kylie Roman.[4][5]

In 2009 she will join the 24th series of Casualty.
