Edit
Please try to edit this this article. CrunchBang Linux is a popular distribution and it should have an up-to-date article- Pmlinediter (talk) 09:42, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- I have rewritten the majority of this article. It reads a bit better now, but I'm sure there is a bit of room for improvement. bobbo (talk) 17:05, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
I did not ask you to edit out the important cited facts, rather I asked you to expand the article. Anyway, I will add the expand tag in the page. Pmlinediter (talk) 10:46, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- I would ask you to remove the line about most Ubuntu packages working on CrunchBang as it doesn't really need to be in there. CrunchBang is basically Ubuntu with a different setup by default (different set of applications on the cd all of which IIRC are simply the Ubuntu packages, just put onto the CD), therefore Ubuntu packages will obviously work. If Crunchbang did much more than simply wrap Ubuntu's packages in a shiny theme/wallpaper then it would make some sense to include the line. I would have edited out, but don't want to be faced with an edit war of any sort and would like some feedback about it. (Full disclosure, I am an Ubuntu developer) bobbo (talk) 19:40, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
I have removed the line about Ubuntu packages working on #!. Pmlinediter (talk) 04:28, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
Desktop Environments =/= Window Managers
It's not possible to have a window manager replace (entirely) a desktop environment. What is the DE that crunchbang actually uses? 68.185.166.207 (talk) 21:33, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
