account

Have you considered creating an account? LibStar (talk) 00:20, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

have you considered my question? Are you the one person editing from the same IP? LibStar (talk) 12:14, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for delaying to reply, and thanks for being the first one to notice my work. As a matter of fact, I did think about creating an account when I first discovered Wikipedia. But as I went through the Wikipedia community, I found that there are also lots of IP users that are actually constructive to Wikipedia (you can see Category:Anonymous Wikipedians). Later on I found an IP called 76.117.247.55 (formerly 68.39.174.238) that can almost qualify as an administrator (there's even a request for adminship for the IP). That completely changed my view towards some IPs. I also found that many good opinions from IPs are ignored. So I decided to stay logout as an IP user to protest for the rights of IPs. It's unlikely that I'll create an account later on. And don't worry, this is a completely individual IP, and there is only one person that edits Wikipedia. I first visited the recent changes page on that day so I decided to give fighting vandalism a try, and I was tired on AfD discussions anyway. It looks like there's suddenly another person reverting vandalism, but it's actually the same person. If you agree or disagree on my opinions about IP editors, feel free to leave a reply at anytime. --98.154.26.247 05:01, 17 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sources for Types of Gestures

Hello. I hope we can count on your assistance in adding reliable sources to Types of gestures. As you pointed suggested, "I believe more source can be added later on." I have located a few sources, but many hands make light work. Cnilep (talk) 20:09, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'll be glad to help adding some sources if I can find some. Normally there isn't many references to this article since most of these gestures are rather casual than formal. But keeping the article is the right decision. --98.154.26.247 23:25, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thank you for reverting the vandalism to Miley Stewart.--The Legendary Sky Attacker 06:58, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, we value all the help we can get. Don't mind The Fixer420, he's just a vandal like the rest of them.
By the way, I've put in a request to semi-protect the page, as the vandalism is ridiculous. When (if) it's protected, you won't be able to edit due to the collateral damage nature of protection. Sorry, and thanks for the help. LedgendGamer 07:08, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your appreciation. And yeah, I tend to be a little angry when an editor reverted my edit just because I'm an IP user (you'll know why if you see my respond in "account" section above). But later I found that user is just another blocked user, as you pointed out. Also, I understand the semi-protection. There were way too much vandalism and many of them are made by new registered users. It's a shame that Wikipedia is sometimes abused by these vandals. --98.154.26.247 23:00, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

(To Sky Attacker) You're welcome. I'm really glad to see someone appreciate my contributions, and that my efforts have not been forgotten. --98.154.26.247 23:00, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why don't you create an account? That way your hard work will be noticed--The Legendary Sky Attacker 00:32, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism warning

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at 2009 Washington Metro subway crash, you will be blocked from editing. Isnotnews (talk) 23:30, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, don't use level three vandalism warning, I am a fully constructive IP user and definitely not some vandalizing IPs. About the removal of the template, this is a misunderstanding. By the time you put that deletion template, the AfD nomination is still unavailable. I thought it was just some vandalism or mistake so I deleted it. I was about to change back when I realized there are actually an AfD nomination, but then you reverted back already. Also, your deletion nomination for the article has been decided to keep the article. --98.154.26.247 23:54, 22 June 2009

Hello

Just a note to thank you for removing this. I don't mind users ranting a bit on my page but I suppose it didn't really need to stay. Good luck with your future editing. Tiderolls 01:23, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism on my sandbox

You look like a skilled IP address, almost a mature autoconfirmed user. Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my sandbox, and why not create an account? Impala2009 | Talk 03:23, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for appreciating my efforts. Maybe taking a look at account section above can explain my reason. --98.154.26.247 23:10, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Thanks for reverting the vandalism on my user page so quickly. Station1 (talk) 05:27, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Vandalism

Thank you for your concern, but I was simply experimenting with my IP. Rbpolsen♦ 04:03, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't really know at that time. Maybe you should put "testing from my own IP" or other way to inform. --98.154.26.247 23:15, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You

Thanks for catching that vandalism on my talk page. I owe you one. :) Happy editing! T'Shael, Lord of the Vulcans 04:28, 27 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your welcome, but in this case, you're talking to a person who has been using lots of different ips and accounts for vandalism for many, many months.  :) -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:21, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for spotting that vandalism for me. I'll be keeping an eye on 142.68.237.219 in the future. Letdorf (talk) 10:04, 30 June 2009 (UTC).[reply]

ChinaHistorian

Thanks for your help dealing with ChinaHistorian. I'll be keeping my eyes open at this time tomorrow in case he starts things up again. Best, rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 02:07, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: "False truffle" page is deleted

I haven't actually written it yet... I wrote my user page with the plan in mind that I would be creating it eventually, and I've found all the sources I need, but I need to sit down for a half hour or so and finish writing it. Thanks for checking with me on the matter. Sophus Bie (talk) 00:23, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for Creation

Your nomination at Articles for Creation was a success, and United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration was created. The article has been assessed as Redirect-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see what needs to be done to bring it to the next level. Please continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia, and please consider registering an account so you can create articles yourself. Thank you for helping Wikipedia! -FASTILY (TALK) 00:15, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects for Creation

I'll spare you the templates. The two redirects you requested (Newe Towne and King's water) were created. Thanks, and happy editing. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 00:09, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually I wouldn't mind if you're substituting template or personal message, but thanks for appreciating my efforts and recognize me as a regular in Wikipedia. --98.154.26.247 00:20, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I prefer personal messages myself, giving and getting. Except if it's a warning of some kind, like vandalism or some such, which I'm sure you know all about. After posting the redirect-related response, I took a couple moments to look over your talk and contribs, and I believe you deserve these:
The Article Rescue Barnstar
Although, ideologically, I would probably be closer to disagreeing with you as far as "inclusionism" or "deletionism" go, but good work is good work nonetheless, and good work should be noted. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 00:39, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
It's a shame that IPs can't use huggle. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 00:39, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not one to usually give barnstars (and two at the same time feels extremely weird, but you've done outstanding work in two very different fields, so two it is), but I really feel you most definitely deserve these. You should add yourself to Cat:Anonymous Wikipedians. You're no less of a wikipedian than anyone else. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 00:39, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikinews title change query

Hi there. It may be a good idea to start another follow up article about the Hurricane SriMesh | talk 02:39, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please add / re-title this developing new story....Typhoon Morakot hits Taiwan resulting in several dead and injured despite preperationsSriMesh | talk 04:08, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, that's a great idea as a matter of fact. Thanks for starting a page about my request, I was going to start but the work is already half way done. I just wanted to mention that there are also other places affected by the typhoon other than the Philippines, so thanks again for handling my request kindly. --98.154.26.247 (talk) (inexperienced editor at Wikinews) 04:30, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

I am so sorry! I just checked my page for the first time in months and noticed that you reverted vandalism on it. Thank you so much! --5 albert square (talk) 23:40, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
