The 1911 Tennessee Volunteers football team would see yet another new head coach in Zora Clevenger, who would be the first real "long term" coach for Tennessee. Prior to coming to Tennessee, Clevenger was the baseball coach for Nebraska Wesleyan. This team continued the SIAA losing streak, 1911 being the third consecutive season that the Volunteers would not win a conference game.
