Theresa Russell (born Theresa Paup, 20 March 1957 San Diego, California, USA) is an American actress. She married Nicolas Roeg in 1982 and has two children. Pete Townsend of The Who admits that Russell was the inspiration of their song, Athena which was first called Theresa.
